The Miss. Kenya contestants of 2005, held on the 10th December, at the Ntyce Concert Centre in Woolwich, set their target on only impressing the Judges and the public, 24 year old Loise Shinaka seem to have mastered impressing the judges and public and the master plan saw the Kenya babe, Quality Control Officer at Linpark Automotive being crowned Miss. Kenya 2005.

Loise Shinaka is a keen basketball player, aspiring singer and a relatively good dancer, Loise states she joined Miss. Kenya so that she could not only have fun but also give something back to the community. Her impressive outfits in the three categories especially the way her swim wear outfits hugged her curvy body, her outgoing personality meant that the girl from Kakamega in Western Kenya managed to charm the Judges who included Kenya's 'next-best' designer, the adorable Sheila Gatonye.
