It's known that Ethiopian women attempt to run away from the unbearable poverty in their home country hoping to make a better living and life for them selves, have been making there way to countries for years now. Once they got to what they considered would be a land of promises, they realized that not only did they not find things up to their expectations but to their utter dismay, they found as a Ethiopian Housemaide nothing but misery and suffering such as they had never thought would happen.

Yeshiwork Zewdu
Yeshiwork Zewdu, who had been working as a maid in Bahrain is in death row accused of murdering her employer. Yeshiwork had been subjected to physical and psychological torture by her male employer, she had to face sexual harassment, was made to work for hours at a time and had not been paid for the last two years. She was unable to leave her employer because he had taken away her passport.
